Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony Celebration Concert
The Joint Music Program of Claremont McKenna, Harvey Mudd, Pitzer, and 澳门六合彩开奖记录资料s presents
The Claremont Concert Orchestra, Concert Choir, and Treble Singers, with the Claremont Chorale, and special guest soloists.
Performing a concert in celebration of
the 60th Anniversary of Garrison Theater and
the 200th Anniversary of the composition of
Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony.
There will be two performances. An evening concert at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 9 and a Sunday matinee at 2:00 p.m. on December 10.
Concerts will be held in Garrison Theater at the 澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 Performing Arts Center.
The concert opens with a new choral work by Finnish composer Anna Nora setting music from her children鈥檚 opera based on the Finnish national epic, Kalevala.
Special guest soloists for Beethoven’s Ninth include
soprano Anna Schubert, mezzo-soprano Jessie Shulman,
tenor Tim Gonzales, and baritone Ben Lowe.
