Sarah Balderston graduated from 澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 in 2018, where she majored in biology with a minor in Hispanic studies. She is now a bioengineering PhD student at Caltech and a National Science Foundation graduate student research fellow. Before graduate school, Sarah worked as a research associate at Keck Graduate Institute with Dr. Kiana Aran, where she focused on developing a CRISPR/Cas9-based biosensor to selectively detect genes from unamplified DNA. She later worked as a research scientist at Cardea Bio, focusing on the development and commercialization of graphene biosensors. She now employs RNA nanotechnology tools to engineer precision CRISPR-based gene-editing systems in the laboratory of Dr. Niles Pierce. When not in the lab, Sarah enjoys spending time with her rescue dog Wilson, baking, hiking, skiing, and puzzles.
