Jane Mi – Media Studies

Professor Mi participated in the following听exhibitions:

路听听听听听 鈥淒eception Island鈥 as a part of the exhibition Soil Strings 鈥 Commoning & Compost听at Blockadia*Tiefsee, Frankfurt, Germany;
路听听听听听 鈥淭he Church of Life鈥 as a part of the group exhibition听Composing Archipelagos听at Contemporary Art Tasmania, Hobart curated by Jasmin Stephens.

She presented at the following talks:

路听听听听听 Postgraduate and Early Career Researchers’ Symposium a virtual conference by the Australian Association for Pacific Studies;
路听听听听听 Unsettling Transpacific Ecologies a virtual conference by the Association for Asian American Studies;
路听听听听听 Island Feminisms: Place, Justice, Movement a virtual panel hosted by the University of Hawai鈥檌 in Hilo;
路听听听听听 Guest lecture銈淬偢銉┨/伞蓲d藞z瑟l蓹/ a virtual talk for the Global Asias Art and Visual Cultures class at Rutgers University.

Professor Mi鈥檚 work was written about in the following essays:

Her work was published in听Nga Tai O Te Ao: the Global Tides听a publication as a result of Aotearoa Global Art Exchange.

Professor Mi鈥檚 submitted for forthcoming publication her essay 鈥淧acific islands Worlds: Oceanic Dis/Positions,鈥 Pacific Arts Association Journal.
