Dear 澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 Employees:
We hope this message finds you in good health and high spirits. We write to inform you of an important update regarding the聽COVID-19 policies and protocols at Scripps. We understand that the pandemic has posed significant challenges for everyone, and we deeply appreciate your cooperation and commitment to the health and safety measures that have been in place to date.
Please note that these changes only apply to employees. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and adapt the College鈥檚 policies accordingly to prioritize the health and well-being of our campus community.
Vaccinations
After careful consideration and review of the current situation, effective immediately, 澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 will no longer require proof of聽COVID-19 vaccination for employees. This decision was made considering the improving public health conditions and high vaccination rates within our community.
While proof of vaccination will no longer be mandatory, we strongly encourage all employees to remain up-to-date with the聽COVID-19 vaccine and boosters. We also encourage you to consult with your healthcare provider to make an informed decision regarding vaccination.
Students will continue to be required to show proof of聽COVID-19 vaccination or exemption and proof of聽flu vaccination or exemption. For the safety of our entire community, we聽continue to stress the importance of following other safety measures such as regular handwashing and not coming to campus if you are ill.
Testing
Effective immediately, 澳门六合彩开奖记录资料 will no longer provide on-campus testing for employees. Instead, we strongly encourage all employees to utilize medical providers in the community to obtain聽COVID-19 testing. This decision was made based on multiple factors, including the availability of reliable testing options and the need for the College to refocus its resources on other critical areas of campus health and safety.
By accessing testing through medical providers, you will benefit from the expertise and resources of healthcare professionals who specialize in聽COVID-19 testing and can provide accurate and timely results. These providers are equipped to oversee the necessary testing protocols and are experienced in navigating the complexities associated with聽COVID-19 testing.
Scripps is committed to providing support and guidance to its community. If you have any concerns or need assistance with finding a medical provider, please do not hesitate to contact your benefits specialist at聽.
Students will continue to have access to聽COVID-19 tests through Student Health Services and the vending machine inside Connections, located in the south entrance of the Honnold/Mudd Library.
Masks
The Facilities Department has a supply of high-quality masks that comply with the latest health guidelines. These masks offer reliable protection and contribute to minimizing the spread of infectious diseases. You may contact facilities at聽[email protected]聽or x72541 to request masks. Faculty members will continue to have the authority to determine when masks should be worn in their classrooms based on the specific circumstances of each class. Faculty will communicate mask requirements to their students directly.
COVID-19 Working Group
As a reminder, the Scripps hotline is no longer in use. All questions related to聽COVID-19 updates and protocols should be directed to the聽COVID-19 Working Group, formed last fall to address pandemic-related process queries. The group consists of campus-wide partners who have come together to provide support and guidance to the College campus community. To streamline communication and ensure that your queries receive prompt attention, we kindly request that you submit all聽COVID-19 related questions聽, also available on Inside Scripps: Faculty can access the form under Faculty Resources or Forms on the聽; staff can find the form under Forms or Staff Essentials on the聽.
To view all updates sent to the Scripps community, visit the聽聽available in the College鈥檚 newsroom and Inside Scripps.
Shawnice Ross, who previously managed these responsibilities, is no longer involved in this capacity. She has transitioned to a new role within the Student Affairs division. The College is appreciative of Shawnice’s dedication and contributions to our聽COVID-19 process.
