DeMethra LaSha Bradley Appointed Vice President for Student Affairs and Dean of Students

DeMethra LaSha 鈥淪ha鈥 Bradley has been appointed vice president for student affairs and dean of students at 澳门六合彩开奖记录资料, beginning August 10. Bradley possesses nearly 20 years of higher education experience in student and academic affairs across public and private institutions. She is the recipient of various student affairs awards, including the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators (NASPA) Student Affairs Partnering with Academic Affairs (SAPAA) Knowledge Community.

Bradley鈥檚 most recent higher education experience was at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she served as the acting vice president for student affairs and dean of students, assistant vice president for student affairs and dean of students, and chair of the case management and campus response teams. During that time, she established the college鈥檚 first disability services office and created and implemented several comprehensive college-wide systems to support the needs of residential and non-residential students. Prior to her work at Macalester, Bradley was the assistant dean for academic and student affairs at the University of Vermont, where she focused on first-year retention and undergraduate recruitment initiatives.

Bradley earned her EdD in education in educational leadership and policy studies and her MEd in higher education and student affairs administration from the University of Vermont. She completed her undergraduate degree in Black studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
