Volunteers can sign up online at community.scrippscollege.edu/oliveoil/2013-olive-oil-harvest/. Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m. Snacks and beverages will be provided until 11 a.m. A free volunteer appreciation lunch, courtesy of the College’s Malott Commons Dining Services, will be offered to the first 100 volunteers who sign up online.

Profits from the sales will support the College’s sustainable initiatives and will help underwrite student community internships. After the harvest, olive oil bottles will be available for purchase for $45 at the Scripps Student Store, 1030 Columbia Ave., and at The Huntley Bookstore, 175 E. 8th St.
