Health

While the United States leads the world in spending on healthcare, actual health outcomes in this country tends to lag behind others. One of the most important strategies in addressing this problem is promoting public health. Calvin's Health Initiative seeks to create a model for research that promotes population health, health equity, and social change.

Calvin researchers will be implementing a sophisticated approach working from assessment and data analysis to translate that research into real social change. The scope of this project is broad and interdisciplinary, from scientific research of populations to the production of peer-reviewed articles, theological works and the visual arts.
