Knight of Distinction Award

Supporting our Knights and cheering them on

Recognizing former Calvin Knights who have served God, church and community with Christian character, shaped in part by participation in the athletics program at Calvin.

Presented annually by the Calvin C Club of the °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ Alumni Association, this award has been established to demonstrate the lifelong benefit of intercollegiate athletics at Calvin as demonstrated in the lives and witness of former student-athletes.

Current recipient

Chris Holstege ’88, professor of emergency medicine and pediatrics at the University of Virginia, and internationally known toxicologist, thinks there’s a misperception about track and field teams.
