The Laspa Center is a long-standing member of PLEN, a nonpartisan 501(c)(3) organization based in Washington, D.C. who’s mission is to increase the number of women in top leadership positions influencing all aspects of the public policy process.Ìý The Laspa Center sponsors students to participate in select seminars annually. .Ìý
Forté Foundation
The Forté Foundation is changing the balance of power in the workplace and transforming leadership across the corporate sector. Currently enrolled °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¿ª½±¼Ç¼×ÊÁÏ enjoy exclusive membership benefits to resources for women business leaders, including scholarship money, conferences, and job boards. The Laspa Center sends students to select conferences each year. .Ìý
Carter Center Executive Briefing Sponsorship
The Carter Center is committed to fighting for human rights, prevent and resolve conflicts, enhance freedom, and improve health worldwide. Projects funded through the Carter Center include establishing and strengthening democracies in 38 countries, initiating public health approached to eradicate devastating diseases in Africa and Latin America. Through the generosity of trustee and alumna Barbara Bruner ’76, one student will receive funding to attend the Carter Center Executive Briefing Conference in Atlanta, GA from October 2-6, 2024.
